STEVEN WOLFGRAM

Steve Wolfgram, of Menasha, known as Wolfy to his may iron working buddies, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009. Steve was born on August 1, 1958, in Neenah, to Robert Bob and Janice Sue Wolfgram. He became a loving, prize-teasing big brother to his sister, Tracie, a few short years later. Steve graduated from Menasha High School in 1976 and went off to experience all that life had to offer in many different states. Presented with job experiences too many to mention, he found his career love being an iron worker. He worked with many different companies, but had a special place for the workers of Boldt Construction. On June 20, 1992, her married Candie (Schmidt) Wolfgram and instantly became a loving and supportive dad to his new daughter, Crystal (Schmidt) Mark and new son, Christopher Mark. Steve enjoyed laughing, making others laugh, playing the guitar and drawing. The past year presented Steve with many hurdles and he met them with great stride, smiling along the way. Steve, as well as his family, would like to extend their gratitude towards to staff of UW- Health in Madison, and particularly the transplant team and unit. Though he did not receive his organ transplant, the process over the past year helped to transform many things in Steves life. Special thanks also go out to many of his iron working friends, Iron Workers Local 8, that had visited and helped do things for Steve this past year. Your support has meant a lot to both Steve and Candie. The Memorial Service for Steve will be Sunday, May 17, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. James Plymire officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Steves honor is being established for his family. Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
