RONALD ARNDT

Ronald L. Arndt, 70, of Menasha, was born September 28, 1938, in Neenah, to the late Ferdinand and Freda (Kowalkowski) Arndt and was born to Eternal Life June 3, 2009. He became one of Gods children through Holy Baptism on October 16, 1938 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha. He was confirmed at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Menasha on June 1, 1952 and graduated from Neenah High School in 1956. On July 27, 1969, he married Judy Tessmer at Salem Lutheran Church in Loretto, Minn. Ron was a charter member of Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church in Menasha and a member of Bethels first confirmation class. He was an active and faithful member of Bethel for the past 56 years. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Judy; two daughters: Tierney Arndt and Heidi (Rev. Daniel) Lindner, and a son, Joel Arndt. He is also survived by a sister, Betty Arndt; a brother, Dallas (Marilyn) Arndt; a sister-in-law, Edith Arndt; his mother-in-law, Audrey Tessmer and his wifes family, Jean (Frederick) Pfotenhauer and James (Rachel) Tessmer. He is further survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother and sister, Donald and Dorothy Arndt, a brother, Kenneth Arndt, a sister, Donna Tesch, and his father-in-law, Marvin Tessmer. The Christian Funeral Service for Ron will be Monday, June 8, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, 829 Appleton Road, Menasha, with Rev. Samuel Degner officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will be in the Community Lutheran Cemetery, town of Freedom. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
