VIRGINIA KECK

Virginia M. "Ginny" Keck, Neenah, age 74, died peacefully at her home on Monday, June 8, 2009. She was born December 22, 1934 in Waupaca County, daughter of the late William and Lydia (Ragel) Raehl. Ginny graduated from Neenah High School in 1952. She was employed with Morton Drug for 10 years and then tended bar at several Taverns in the Neenah area. Ginny enjoyed bowling, playing darts and cribbage, reading, watching old movies, and spending time outdoors vacationing with family and friends in Waupaca, Crivitz and Saxeville. She volunteered helping the elderly with cleaning, running errands and taking them to appointments. Ginny was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Neenah. Survivors include five children: Timothy Keck, Neenah, Jeff (Debbie) Keck, Neenah, Dawn (Mike) Atkins, North Carolina, Scott (Jean) Keck, Menasha, Thomas (Tammi) Keck, Neenah; nine grandchildren: Matt Keck, Jason Keck, Luke (Kara) Keck, Adam Keck and fianc, Brittany Erickson, Chad (Misti) Keck, Andrew (Meghan) Heling, Michael Atkins, James Atkins, Riley Keck; eight great-grandchildren: Paige, Jessica, Kayla, Avery, Brett, Grace, Ashlyn and Mollie; two brothers-in-law, Robert Haddock, Neenah, Bernie Trader, Menasha. Ginny will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Keck; three sisters: LaMoine Trader, Lorraine Haddock, Marion Baldwin; a brother, LaVerne Raehl; and her children's father, Rowland "Mickey" Keck. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with The Rev. James Plymire officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 pm until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for Our Saviors Lutheran Church or the Boys' and Girls' Brigade - Camp Onaway. Ginny donated her body to science in hopes of helping others in need.
