Obituary
Kathy A. Gibson, 46, of Appleton, formerly of Neenah, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Cherry Meadows following many years of health concerns and illness with diabetes. Kathy was born January 18, 1963, in Neenah, the daughter of Betty (Seggeling) Gibson, Appleton, and the late Duane Gibson. She graduated from Neenah High School in 1981, and had lived in Ohio and Florida before returning to the Fox Valley. Kathy was a very caring person and had a good sense of humor. She is survived by her mother, Betty; her sister, Kay (Clifford) Schultz, Overland Park, Kansas; her brother, Steven Gibson, Kensington, Maryland; and dear friends, Jackie and Pura. Private family services for Kathy will be held at a later date.

Gibson Family- I am sorry to hear such sad news. I ran into Kathy a few years ago- and she had me laughing so hard. MANY fun times at the Gibson house when I was growing up on Michael Ave. I recall her having a hard time with diabetes as a kid. I also ran into her and Betty at Paynes Point years ago. So sorry such a nice person was taken too soon. My thoughts and prayers are surely with all of you. PS I was such a girlie girl when I was little and she always was the tom boy, she showed me not to be such a wimp with bugs and all the boy stuff! I remember so many fun things about her.
