ARTHUR JURY

Arthur Paul "Bud" Jury, age 80, died on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. He was born on May 12, 1929 in St. Paul, MN, son of the late George and May Jury. The family moved to Wisconsin when Bud was very young. He was employed by John Strange Paper Co. in Menasha for 25 years, and was with Neenah Foundry for 10 years. He was an honest, simple, humble man who took everybody at face-value and was always willing to help someone in need. Bud lived to fish at the Menasha Damn. He also enjoyed sports, having umpired and coached children's baseball in the 1980's. He will be sadly missed by two daughters: Debbie (Duane) Houck, Bettendorf, IA, Diane (Dennis) Kroger, Chicago, IL; four sons: David (Andrea), Neenah, Dan (Chris), Neenah, Daryll , LaCrosse, Doug, El Cajon, CA; three grandchildren: Danielle (Tom) Putro, Kristy and Austin Kroger; two great grandchildren: Nick and McKenzie Putro; he is further survived by siblings and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his brother: Jim Jury. A memorial service for Bud will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, (226 Washington Street), Father Ed Smith will officiate. Bud's wish was to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's name are appreciated to the Double Portions Fund at St. Thomas.
