MARGARET KRIEGER

Margaret M. Krieger of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born January 31, 1932, in Menasha, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mathilda (Feitzer) Schipferling. She was a graduate of St. Mary Central High School and was united in marriage to Raymond Krieger in 1951 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2010. Margaret and Ray always enjoyed traveling, especially to the cabin in Mountain. Margaret loved to take long walks in warm weather and snowmobile in the cold and snowy weather. Bowling was always a fun hobby for her and Ray. In her later years she took great pleasure volunteering in the Seton Middle School cafeteria with her daughter Linda. Survivors include her sons, Richard (Carol) Krieger, Appleton; Daniel Krieger, Mountain and her daughter Linda (Mark) Wintheiser, Neenah; grandchildren: Alexandra, Donald (Michelle) Krieger, Dakota, Dallas Krieger and John, and Adam Wintheiser; a great-grandson, Brennan Otto; her sister, Kay (Jim) Koerner, Portage, and brother, Bill Schipferling, Menasha. Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Valhaven Rehab and Nursing Facility for the special care they gave Margaret, especially Tasha.
