LYLE CURTIS

Lyle C. Curtis, age 91, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born September 26, 1917 in the Town of Menasha; son of the late Clinton E. and Inetz (Van Epps) Curtis. He married Marjorie Anderson; she preceded him in death in 1985. He was formerly employed with Banta Corporation. Lyle was the best father and friend a person could have. He enjoyed hunting and being in the woods. He also enjoyed sharing his life stories with others. Survivors include a daughter, Lori Curtis and her fianc Ed Zettler Jr., six grandchildren: Ashley, Elizabeth, Sarah, Joseph, Mariah, and Hannah; and close friends, Mark and Jeff Syring. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Taylor, and a brother, Raymond. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
