LESTER REDLIN

Lester Ernie Redlin, age 93, of Neenah, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Ernie was born June 9, 1915, in Neenah; son of George and Elsie (Stielow) Redlin. He was a graduate of Neenah High School, and served in the United States Army during World War II. Ernie was united in marriage to Vera Victorson on May 16, 1942, in St. Louis, MO. They celebrated 66 years together last year. Ernie was employed with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation prior to his retirement 31 years ago. He enjoyed family get-togethers, card playing, bowling, and spending time outdoors-hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Vera; four sons: James (Karen) Redlin, Appleton, Paul Redlin, New York, David Redlin and Mark (Nancy) Redlin, Oshkosh; seven grandchildren: John, Jaime, Julianne, Shawn, Scott, Cynthia, and Jennifer; eleven great-grandchildren: Kathryn, Ethan, Dmitri, Kaylin, Karisa, Leah, Allyson, Jessica, Gabrielle, Samantha, and Christian; and his sister, Doris Olson, Arizona. Ernie was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol, and infant daughter, Ruth Ann, and a sister, Florence Fredricks. The Funeral Service for Ernie will be Saturday, February 21, 2009, 3:00 p.m., at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael VanCuyk and Rev. Michael Huff officiating. Visitation will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
