GERALDINE BADTKE

Geraldine D. Badtke of Neenah, age 94, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born November 28, 1915 to the late William and Bernice (Brown) Blohm. On September 21, 1940, Geraldine married Erhardt Badtke. Geraldine was employed by Kimberly-Clark for seventeen years before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and needle work, and prided herself in baking pies for her family. She also enjoyed boating and dancing with Erhardt. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 69 years, Erhardt; daughter Janice (Russell) Meerdink; two grandchildren: Leslie (Scott) Charles and Todd (Susan) Meerdink; and one great-grandchild: Hunter Charles. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Adeline Morse and Elmer Blohm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2009, 11:30 A.M. at Neenahs Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, Rev. James Plymire officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Park View Health Center for their compassionate care for Geraldine.
