PATRICIA GERDIN

Gerdin, Patricia Anne Patti Neenah Patricia Anne Gerdin, age 67, shared her life with us until Saturday morning, May 22, 2010. She was full of spirit, but her body was unable to keep up with her. Patti was born on December 5, 1942 in New London, daughter of the late John and Ruth (Sawall) Restle. She remained in New London until graduating from Washington High School. After graduation she moved to Appleton where she eventually found her niche in Law. She was a legal secretary throughout the rest of her working career. One of Pattis favorite vacation spots was on the Chain-O-Lakes near Waupaca. She spent many Summers there with friends and family where the combination of sun and water always made her happy. Patti loved dogs, watching the Packers, and crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed by her children: Jeff (Jan) Gerdin, Evanston, IL, Jillian (Jim) Berg, Madison, Jodi (Pete) Strenn, Appleton, Jenee (Mike) Kitten, Appleton; grandchildren: Zoe Gerdin, Keely Berg, Hope, Payton, and John Strenn, Leslie, Nicole, Margaret, and Audrey Kitten; sister: Prudy (Steve) Fletcher, New London; special friend Larry LaRue, and her beloved dog, Lambeau. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents. The funeral service for Patti will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Sawall officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Pattis name. A special heart-felt thank you to Pattis Second Family for keeping her straight and keeping her company.
