STEVEN KEHL

Steven Kehl, 57, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Steve was born November 5, 1952, in Neenah, the son of Bernice (Bahr) Kehl, Neenah, and the late Robert Kehl. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War for four years, with tours of duty in New Mexico and Thailand. Steve was employed with the Neenah Paper Company (formerly Fox River Paper) for over 20 years. He was joined in marriage to Liana Brunner in 1984. She preceded him in death in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, watching baseball and football, reading (especially mysteries), road trips, traveling, and taking care of his cats, Harvey and Chloe. Steve loved his family very much and he will truly be missed by them. Survivors include his mother, Bernice; two sisters, Linda Kehl and Leanne Wentzel, Neenah; his niece, Maggie Wentzel; and nephew, Robert (Aleana) Wentzel, and their children, Ila and Parker, the sparkle of Steves eyes. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lori Jo Kehl, grandparents, Fritz and Ethel Kehl and William and Margaret Bahr. The Memorial Service for Steve will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, Neenah, with Rev. Robert Hays officiating. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
