ROBERT PRATT

Robert E. Pratt, of Neenah, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 14, 2010. He was born May 3, 1930 in Des Moines, IA, son of the late Robert D. and Emma (Evans) Pratt. Bob served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Washington D.C. and worked as a cryptographer at the Pentagon. He married Trisha Whalen on December 27, 1952 in Minneapolis. Bob was employed with Kimberly-Clark for 18 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a ham radio operator and his call number was Whisky9ZC and a big motorcycle fan, owning 3 of his own. Survivors include his wife, Trisha; two sons: William Pratt, Neenah, Stephen Pratt (Gina Vendola), Neenah; a grandson, Evan Stensrud, Minneapolis; two sisters: Margaret (Jake) Jaeger, Minneapolis, Joanne (Dick) Rehberg, Chetek, WI; a brother, James (Karen) Pratt, Minneapolis. Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ann Pratt Stensrud; and a sister, Dorothy Schepers. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
