KATHRYN BREENING

Breening, Kathryn L. (Blohm) Age 92, passed away peacefully in the company of her family at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington on Friday, June 25, 2010. Kate was born in Neenah on February 24, 1918, the daughter of Henry and Alta Blohm. She graduated from Neenah High School, worked at Kimberly-Clark, and married Stuart B. Breening in 1945. Stu and Kate raised their family as Stu moved with paper companies from Memphis, Tennessee, to New Milford, Connecticut, and then to Lewiston, Idaho. After retiring in 1979, Stu and Kate moved to Mill Creek, Washington, to be near their children and grand children. Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart; brothers Milton (Alvera) Blohm, Eldon (Carol) Blohm, and Beldon Blohm, and survived by her son S. Bruce (Diane) Breening, Elgin, SC; daughter Ann (John) Belmont, Mill Creek, WA; grand children Jena (Todd) VandenBerg, Elgin, SC; Marc (Sandi) Belmont, Eugene, OR: Katie (Clint) Cameron, Snohomish, WA; and Laura Belmont, Seattle, WA; and great grand children Zachary, Haydon, Chloe, and Jacob VandenBerg; Anna Belmont; and Cole Cameron. A visitation will be held on July 3 at 10 AM at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home followed by a service at 11 AM with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
