LORRAINE AURES

Lorraine A. Laurie Aures, 84, of Neenah, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Although sickness permeated her body, the Savior claimed her soul. She was born October 14, 1925, in Appleton, the daughter of Ellis and Clissie (Rickard) Whiting. Laurie lived in Appleton most of her early life; she lived five years in Two Rivers, where her children were born; and presently was a Neenah resident. Lorraine graduated from Appleton West High School in 1943, and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Werner, as well as office assistant for Dr. Graham before marrying Don Behl. After her marriage to Robert Aures in 1955, Lauries prime occupation was wife, mother, and homemaker. Lorraine was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Neenah. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Bob Aures; three children: Gary Allen (Dollie) Behl, San Diego, CA, Kathy Marie Behl-Whiting, Miami, FL, and Jerry (Ruth) Riehl, Appleton; her grandchildren, Sara, David, Febbie, and Angie; two sisters, Jan Dobbertin, Sun City, AZ, and Lois Poe, Sunnyside, WA; and a brother, Larry Whiting, Cape Coral, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Clissie Whiting. The Memorial Service for Lorraine will be Friday, July 16, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Bible Church, Neenah, with Rev. Dr. Harry Shields officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday until the hour of the service at the church. Inurnment will be in the Star of Hope Chapel Mausoleum, Appleton.
