LOIS OTTO

Lois V. Otto, of Appleton, age 81, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, following a battle with cancer. She was born November 8, 1931 in Neenah, daughter of the late James and Ruth (Miller) Presher. Lois moved to Ladysmith, WI, at the age of 3 and resided there until her high school graduation. Lois married Darwin Otto on February 25, 1956. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2005. She also resided in Maryland prior to moving back to the Fox Valley. Lois enjoyed golf, crafts and gardening. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church of Appleton. Survivors include her three sons: Mike (Donna) Otto, Freedom, Matt (Vonda) Otto, Menasha, Lyman (Nancy) Otto, Neenah; seven grandchildren: Shane Otto and special friend, Karissa Fleishman, Brett Otto, Chadd (Charity) Otto, Casey Otto, Dylon Otto and special friend, CJ, Austin Otto and Kennady Otto; two great-grandchildren: Kody and Aspen Otto; a sister, Violet Pitts; a brother, Pat (Irma) Presher; a brother-in-law, Gayland Otto; and two sisters-in-law, Juniel Mathis and Donna Jungenberg. Lois was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bill Pitts. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
