WILSON LUTZ

Wilson Woody Lutz, age 66, of Appleton, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at his residence. Woody was born August 19, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Wilson, Sr. and Jean (Smith) Lutz. He was united in marriage to Pearl Barlow on February 1, 1975, in Waukegan, IL. She preceded him in death April 19, 2012. Wilson was an inspector with Neenah Foundry prior to his retirement. He enjoyed traveling this past year to Florida and Las Vegas, and was very involved in his support group after Pearls passing. Woody loved to visit the residents at ManorCare in Appleton whenever he could. Survivors include his step-son, Richard (Rozella) Barlow, of Illinois; six grandchildren: Debra, Beverly, Sandra, Joyce, Heather, and Richard, Jr.; there are 17 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; three sisters: Jane, Judy and Fran; two brothers: Walter and William; several nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Marian. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Pearl, stepdaughter Ruth, sister Jeannie, and great-great grandson Matthew. A private memorial service for Wilson will be held at a later date.
