RAYMOND OLEJNIK

Raymond Joseph Olejnik, Sonny , age 79, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013. He was born on July 21, 1934 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, son of the late Michael and Nettie (Helmeniak) Olejnik. After completing high school, Raymond proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps. On July 12, 1976 he married Carol Olejnik in Chicago, Illinois. After the unfortunate passing of his step-daughter, Brenda, Raymond and Carol took in and raised their granddaughter, Crystal Olejnik from age three. He enjoyed gardening, and loved every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Carol; his step-daughters: Debbie (Ken) Lewallen, Wild Rose, Pam (Gary) Shaver, Texas, Theresa (Jim) Hopp, Neshkoro; step-sons: Terry (Pam) Olejnik, Oshkosh, Jeff (Ann) Olejnik, Menasha, Brian Olejnik, Oshkosh; daughter-in-law, Jean Olejnik; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters: Marge Wagner, Ripon, Maxine Connors, Oshkosh, Bernadine (Roger) Lewellyn, Oshkosh; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Richard Olejnik Jr., a step-daughter, Brenda Olejnik, a great grandchild, Blair; and his sister, Alice Solan. The Funeral Service for Raymond will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Pam Mullins officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Oshkosh, where military honors will be performed. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Raymonds name. I love you, and Ill miss you dearly. Love, Carol
