VERA REDLIN

Vera Redlin, age 94, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born in Evanston, IL on February 26, 1919 to Eric and Martha (Schrader) Victorson. On May 16, 1942, she was united in marriage to Lester Ernie Redlin in St. Louis, MO. Early in her married life, Vera worked as a Welcome Wagon hostess. She enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through cards and notes. While residing at Oakridge Gardens, she enjoyed doing word search puzzles. Vera had a sweet personality and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and others who knew her. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie; daughter, Carole Hewitt; son, Mark; and infant daughter, Ruth Ann. Survivors include her three sons: James (Karen) Redlin, Appleton; Paul Redlin, New York; David Redlin, Menasha; seven grandchildren: John (Carol) Hewitt, Neenah; Julianne (Gary) Reif, Kaukauna; Jaime (Lori) Hewitt, Winneconne; Shawn Hewitt, Neenah; Scott (Meg) Redlin, San Diego; Cynthia (Scott) Boyer, Naperville, IL; and Jennifer (Josh) Huelsbeck, Neenah. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren: Kaylin Hewitt; Karisa Hewitt; Leah Hewitt; Christian Reif; Allyson Hewitt; Jessica Hewitt; Gabrielle Hewitt; Samantha Hewitt; Kathryn Redlin; Dmitri Redlin; and Ethan Boyer. A funeral service for Vera will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Huff officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Veras family extends a special thank you to the staff at Oakridge Gardens for the wonderful care she received.
