MONIQUE SPINNER

On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, the Good Lord called lovingly Monique Spinner to her eternal home. Monique Spinner, born January 10, 1925 in Lausanne, Switzerland was the daughter of the late Jean and Lina Kroepfli. In 1948, she married Willy H. Spinner and both immigrated to Canada in 1952 to move later to Chicago, IL and Beloit, WI in 1961. Since 1968, they resided in Neenah, WI. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. She loved Wisconsin, whose beauty reminded her of her homeland. She went to Switzerland several times to visit her 3 sisters: Ruth, Doris, and Myriam; now deceased. Survivors include her husband, Willy Spinner; 2 children: Peter (Beth) Spinner and Sylvia (Gary Sterken) Spinner; 3 grandchildren: Noah and Adam Spinner, sons of Peter and Beth; and Elizabeth Schneider, daughter of Bill Schneider and Sylvia. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lay Care Ministries at Faith United Methodist Church would be appreciated. The memorial service for Monique will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith United Church in Neenah, Rev. Mary Council-Austin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
