NEAL DAVIDSON

Neal Davidson passed away January 20, 2011 at Vallhaven Care Center following a brief illness. He was born May 1, 1930 in the Town of Lind in Waupaca County. After graduating from Waupaca High School he served in the U.S. Air Force in Germany and was a member of the VFW. He married Elva Rach June 24, 1956 and they made Neenah their home. He worked in the construction industry his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marie Davidson, wife Elva Davidson, sister Retta Obermeier, and in-laws Elmer and Ella Rach, Sr. and Elmer Rach, Jr . He is survived by his children Cindy (Don Novak) Davidson, Niagara, Sandy (Joel) Huth, Neenah, Connie Marschner, Appleton, and David (Vickie) Davidson, Neenah, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother Ken (Shirley) Davidson, Weyauwega, and two sisters Rogene (Louis) Hintz , Winneconne and Pat (Bob) Keen, The Villages, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 5 pm. Visitation will be from 3 pm until the time of the service. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Vallhaven Care Center and ThedaCare at Home for their compassionate care.
