VIVIENNE PETERS

Vivienne Marie Peters, age 89, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born September 24, 1919 in Kenosha, daughter of the late Roy and Marie (Menning) Schultz. She married August Peters on November 30, 1941 in New Jersey. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2002. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, New Jersey and Churchmans Business College. Vivienne was a Neenah resident since 1948. She was employed with Dr. Clemens Kirchgeorg for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Neenah, Friends Class and Mary Circle. She was also a member of Eastern Star and Nobel Shrine Ladies. Vivienne enjoyed golfing and bowling. She also enjoyed traveling in the US, Canada, and abroad; and wintering in East Texas. Survivors include two daughters: Pamela (Uldis) Praulins, Indian Wells, CA, Susan Rausch, Madison; a son, Richard Peters, Appleton, two grandchildren: Greta (Kevin) Teter, McFarland, WI, Kurt (Margaret) Rausch, Evansville, WI; and a brother, Robert Schultz, Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Warren Schultz and B. James Schultz; and a sister Judy Schultz. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11:00 am, at First Presbyterian Chapel with the Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Visitation will be on Friday at the chapel from 10:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, American Lung Association, or the Shriners Hospitals.
