DIANA CLARKE

Diana R. Clarke, age 87, of Neenah passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Alten Haus. She was born on February 6, 1928 in Marquette, Michigan, daughter of the late Rowland and Virginia (Robare) Keck. She was a graduate of Neenah High School. On January 18, 1947 she married Charles D. Clarke at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. Their marriage was blessed with 2 daughters, a son, and 57 wonderful years before Charles preceded her in death on May 25, 2004. Diana was a gracious, happy, and selfless woman who was gifted as an accordion player, loved playing in card club, and above all she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, always so kind and generous to all. She will be sadly missed by her children: Cheryl Birling (Lyle) Hemp, Neenah, Danna (Dennis) Klapper, Crandon, Michael (John Stolla) Clarke, Neenah; grandchildren: Christopher Birling, Bryan (Tracey) Birling, Katie (Chuck) Miller, Thomas James "TJ" (Lyndsey) Spilman; great grandchildren: Brady, Brock, Anna, Chase, Emory, Avery, Sydney, Jackson, Tyler; sisters: Virginia LaForest, Ishpeming, MI, Jacqueline (Richard) Vial, Neenah. In addition to her parents, and her beloved husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roland Keck; and brother-in-law, Robert LaForest. The Funeral service for Diana will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Neenah's Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Diana's name. The family would like to thank the staff of Alten Haus, who took such wonderful care of Mom. You made her feel safe, and we felt safe trusting her to you. Also, to the staff of Heartland Hospice: thank you for your heartfelt care and compassion through Diana's illness. We are deeply grateful.
