Obituary
David G. Thiel, formerly of Neenah, age 71, passed away following a short battle with cancer on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Clarity Care in Oshkosh. He was born July 20, 1938 in Neenah, son of the late Donald and Mildred (Zachow) Thiel. David was one of Gods special people, as he was mentally challenged all of his life. He enjoyed taking drives to get ice cream, watching planes and listening to music. Survivors include a sister, Patricia (Louis) Dubroka, Neenah; a niece, Colleen Foth, Neenah; two nephews: Tim and Brian Foth, Oshkosh; a great-niece, Carrie (Mike) Fossum, Appleton; an aunt, Marion Snyder, Little Chute; and an uncle, Bill Thiel, Neenah. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol (Gary) Snyder; and a niece, Dawn Snyder. A graveside service will be held for David at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
