Dear Kiki and Linda, Our thoughts and prayers have been with you. The special gifts of your husband and father will keep on giving. Please see yourselves as gifts to us which he helped shape. How good it is to have a loving and grace-filled God! -- Joel and Susan Schlachtenhaufen

Dear Kiki and Linda, How sorry we were to learn of Dallas's passing. You have our deepest sympathy. My mother, Leone Ferron, will be saddened when we tell her. She just celebrated her 96 birthday and is in assisted living. Over some years since my dad's passing Dallas showed Leone so much kindness and compassion by taking her grocery shopping, bringing her flowers and planting them and making sure that no one took advantage of her as it did happen when she was sold a very expensive vacuum. Dallas called me to alert me of the situation. I remember Dallas when I was a younger girl and his beautiful singing voice. Leone loved to accompany him when he sang solos. She would always talk of his beautiful voice. When Dallas no longer was able to help Leone because of his health he made arrangements for some one else to help her. Dallas gave Leone a small statue of Christ, one that he created, that I have standing on a shelf with a picture of Dallas the artist along side. It will always be a reminder to our family of his kindness toward Leone. Your family will also be remembered for bringing Leone into you home for special holidays. So many wonderful artistic gifts Dallas created for us to admire and enjoy. He will live on in our hearts. Sincerely, Judy Dokmo, Leone Ferron's daughter
