Obituary
Age 73, passed away on October 19, 2009 at the VNA in Neenah. She was born on June 29, 1936 in Wilmette, Illinois to the late Arthur and Vera Windbiel. She married G. Douglas Reilly in 1959. They were married for 32 years before his passing in 1991. Vera devoted her life to raising her two wonderful children and enjoyed being a grandmother to her two grandchildren immensely. She was an avid music fan and loved to cook and entertain guests in her home. She started her own interior design business and was very successful in working with many local decorating clients. She was truly passionate about her work, her cats and her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Steve (Amy) Reilly of Neenah and her two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug, and her daughter Linda. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 439 Washington Avenue, Neenah with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Veras name to either the Valley VNA at 1533 Lyon Drive in Neenah or the Humane Society in Oshkosh.

We are so sorry about your loss. The world loses a sweet and caring person. She enjoyed talking about her family. She loved and adored everyone. We always enjoyed talking to Vera about our love for animals. She showed a lot of love for Simba & Felix. She is a dear friend who will be missed by all!! She was a first class lady.

Oct. 19 was a very sad day. We've lost a truly talented cook, home decorator, and a 'keeper' of the 4 legged kind, not to mention the loves of her life. Vera was so proud of those she left behind, may time be a healing, and a condolence to those left behind.

My dear, dear friend, what a loss to all of us you are. She was our friend since Air Force days back in 1962 and our memories span almost a lifetime.
