LORRAINE LARSON

Lorraine M. Anderson Larson, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born on June 26, 1923, daughter of the late Albert and Odella (Bayer) Rosenow. She attended the old Washington School, then Kimberly Junior High School, and graduated in 1941 from Neenah High School, where she enjoyed playing the clarinet. She was a switchboard operator at Wisconsin Telephone Company until she was united in marriage to Douglas Anderson on October 12, 1945 after he returned from military service in the European Theater during WWII. He passed away on their 31st wedding anniversary on October 12, 1976. She worked at Stadtmueller Grocery Store for several years until Eric and Mark Radtke, two special neighbor boys who lost their mother, came to live with Doug and Lorraine. Later she went to work at Atlas Office Supply where she became acquainted with Richard Larson of Green Bay. They were married May 12, 1990. They enjoyed 17 years together traveling to 38 states and taking two cruises. Richard passed away on September 5, 2007. Lorraine was a 70-plus year member at St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Neenah/Menasha Lady Elks. She is survived by her son, David (Dione) Anderson, Milwaukee; brother Tom Rosenow, AZ; Eric Radtke (Jane Eccles); Ernie and Sherry Belling; and Roxanne Kading. In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers and Mark Radtke. The Funeral Service for Lorraine will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum in Neenah.
