DIANE SWIER

Diane K. Swier, of Neenah, age 60, died Thursday, October 7, 2010, following a short illness. She was born May 15, 1950 in Jamestown, North Dakota, daughter of Gerhard Gary and Ellen (Bauer) Sailer. Diane married Doug Swier on August 9, 1970 in Colton, SD. He preceded her in death in December of 1985. Diane devoted her life to serving others through her 23 years of service as a nurse at Theda Clark Medical Center and previous years in South Dakota. Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Eric Swier; her mother and best friend, Ellen Sailer; her sister, Deb (Bruce) Beck; her two nieces: Audra and Cristin Beck. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerhard Gary Sailer. The memorial service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 140 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah, with the Rev. Stephen Dietzler officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be held in Colton, SD. We cannot forget her greatly loved extended family at Theda Clark. Thank you to all of you!
