JOHN REISER

John A. Reiser, of Neenah, age 51, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. He was born December 27, 1958 in Green Bay, son of Archie and Betty (Woelfel) Reiser. Johns parents owned and operated the Neenah Dairy Queen and he grew up in the business. John graduated from Arizona State University and then received his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. He married Julie Simonis on July 6, 1985 in Menasha. John was a hardworking employee with Pierce Manufacturing for 15 years. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Neenah. John enjoyed biking, working out, walking on the CB trail and his two dogs. A loving husband, father, son, and brother he will be sadly missed by his wife, Julie; two children: Ryan Reiser and Allie Reiser; a grandson, Logan ; his mother, Betty Reiser; a sister, Marjorie (Paul) Bongers; two brothers: Paul (Ann) Reiser, Jim (Christine) Reiser; his mother-in-law, Rosemary Simonis; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Laurie (Pat) Kish, John (Renee) Simonis, Patti (Greg) DeMuri, Karen (Bill) Hoffmann; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, Archie Reiser; his father-in-law, Frank Simonis; and a nephew and godson, PJ Reiser. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Rd., Neenah, with Dr. Harry Shields officiating. The visitation will be held Friday, from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
