DELBERT FORSETH

Delbert E. Forseth, 83, of Menasha, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. Delbert was born January 8, 1927, in Appleton, the son of Erling and Julia (Norby) Forseth. He enlisted in the United States Army during World War II, and was a Jeep mechanic. Del was united in marriage to Eunice Ihde on November 15, 1947, in Iola. She preceded him in death March 21, 1989. Del was employed for 40-plus years at James Rivers Corp. prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and trout fishing, yard work, tinkering with cars, NASCAR, and dancing. Survivors include his daughters: Sandra Forseth, Neenah, Patty (Steve) Braemer, Appleton, and Sharon (Doug) Baeten, Fremont; eight grandchildren: Heidi Jacobson (Curt Marsh), Lisa (Greg) Zolkowski, Amanda Cervantes, Brenda (Ben) Tyrrell, Brian Braemer (fiance, Jackie Peter), Brigit Braemer (Fallon Gloede), Melissa (Rob) Hammond, and Julee (Jason) Meddaugh; 12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Braeden, Owen, Ethan, Olivia, Aleisha, Jordan, Bailey, Casey, Vanessa, Fenix, and Mia; and a brother, Alton (Mabel) Forseth, Oconomowoc. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, and his special friend, Liz Mayer. The Funeral Service for Delbert will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Huff officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home until the hour of the service. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Town of Menasha. A memorial fund in Delberts honor is being established for the Autism Society of Wisconsin, 1477 Kenwood Dr., Menasha, WI, 54952.
