SCOTT KOHLER

Scott E. Kohler, of Neenah, age 50, passed Friday, October 22, 2010 due to complications from a heart attack. He was born May 28, 1960 in Neenah, son of Ed and Donna (Syring) Kohler. Scott graduated from Menasha High School in June of 1978. Two weeks later he started working at Hafemeister Machine Shop where he worked the last 33 years. He married Christine Voster on May 17, 2003. Scott was always willing to lend a helping hand. He liked hanging out with his friends and going to Badger games and grilling out. Scott enjoyed cooking and loved to watch everyone enjoy his creations. His specialty was hot beef. Scott was also an avid Cubs fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched in one way or another. Survivors include his wife, Christine; two children: Krystle (Joe), Nicholas Kohler; the mother of his children, Sue Schmalz; his parents, Ed and Donna Kohler; a brother, Todd (Heather) Kohler; his in-laws, Ron and Bev Voster; a brother-in-law, Randy Voster; two nephews: Reily and Reed; a sister-in-law, Sarah Voster; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents: Edward and Eunice Kohler, Edward and Marcella Syring, Bernice and Jacob Elmer. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name. The family would like to thank the UW Hospital in Madison nurses and doctors for their care of Scott.
