LENORA DANIELSON

Lenora Irene Danielson passed away on February 9, 2015 after a lingering illness. A loving daughter, sister and aunt, she was born to Norman and Audrey (Langvad) Danielson at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, Wisconsin on August 16, 1948. A proud 1967 graduate of Menasha High School, Lenora lived and worked across Wisconsin, starting with a civil service job in Madison and various jobs in Oshkosh. She later spent four years working for Jeno's Pizza in Superior and attending technical college before returning to the valley to work for Goodwill Industries. Lenora was a very spiritual person and belonged to many churches, making countless friends along the way. She played a large part in all of our lives and cherished her time with her family. A kind and gentle soul, she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Audrey Danielson, Neenah, WI; sister, Mary (George) Meyer, Neenah, WI, and their children: Troy (Rachael) Meyer, Appleton, WI; Jesse (Aaron), Chicago, IL; Peder (Molly), Glendale, CA; brother, David (Mary Lee) Danielson, Broomfield, CO, and their children: Elisabeth (Joey) Smith, Indianapolis, IN; Erik (Liz) Danielson, Fort Wayne, IN; Laura Jean (Michael) Young, Indianapolis, IN; brother, Bruce (Donna) Danielson, Northglenn, CO, and their children: Nathan (Camille) Danielson, Sun Prairie, WI; Sarah (Mike) Miller, Northglenn, CO; as well as her very close and longtime friend, Nancy Tangney. She also has these special great-nieces and nephews: Lane, Dexter, and Pepper Meyer; Scout and Sawyer Smith; Audrey and Eli Danielson; Olivia, Evelyn, and Willa Miller; Margaret and Bryce Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Danielson and infant sister, Susan Danielson. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Alten Haus (Anne, MJ, and Michelle) and Heartland Hospice staffs (special nurse Katie) for the wonderful and compassionate care during this difficult time. They treated her like family and this gave her much comfort. A private memorial service will be held this summer where those who loved her will celebrate her life with her special Jell-O salad and "munchies" and listening to the Beach Boys.
