DARRON BRECKENRIDGE

Darron J. Breckenridge, of Neenah, age 44, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after stubbornly fighting Colon Cancer. He was born March 5, 1966 in Lake Wood, New Jersey, son of Fred Breckenridge and Cheryl Ann Podrazik. Darron attended Pineland High School in New Jersey. He served in the US Army and was stationed state side and overseas as a medic and was part of JSOC. Darron moved to Wisconsin where he settled and raised his children. He fulfilled his dream of becoming a paramedic and was employed with Orange Cross in Sheboygan and the Waushara County EMS. Darron married the love of his life, Lori Parman-Charneski on February 19, 2009. He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing and hunting and was a member of Riverview Lutheran Church of Appleton. Survivors include his wife, Lori; five children: Samantha Rae Breckenridge, Tyler John Breckenridge, Amber Wilson, Nathan Charneski, Benjamin Charneski; his father, Fred (Susan) Breckenridge; his mother, Cheryl Ann (Norm) Podrazik; and two sisters: Tallie (Eric) Morice, Marla Mochrie; a special friend, Carolyn Sturm; and he will be missed by his special dog, Cody. Darron was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a special great aunt, Alberta Mathis Breckenridge. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1451 Green Valley Rd., Neenah. The visitation will be held at the cemetery chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name. Dont mourn my death, rather rejoice and celebrate the life I had. The family would like to thank the staff of Affinity Hospice, Affinity Home Care Plus, Dr. Dan Mulkerin and Dr. John Swanson for all their care of Darron.
