ADA STAHL

Ada E. Stahl, age 93 of Menasha, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 2, 2010. She was born October 24, 1917, the 10th child of Louis and Minnie Carow in Winneconne, WI. She was married on August 1, 1941 to Ralph Stahl and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage until his death on August 3, 1988. Ada and Ralph lived in Menasha for most of their married life where they raised their children. She worked for many years at Menasha Corp. and was very active in her church, as well as a volunteer Pink Lady at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was truly a servant and will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Ada will be missed by her children: Ann (Larry) Wright, Osprey, FL; Marty (Kris) Stahl, Menasha, WI; Susan (Gary) Wyhoski, Menasha, WI; grandchildren: David Wright, who preceded her in death; Becky (Eric) Bickelman, Wilmore, KY; Aaron (Nicole) Wright, Albuquerque, NM; Brian (Tracey) Stahl, Shawano, WI; Mark (Lisa) Stahl, Menasha, WI; Sarah (Corey) Wilde, Kaukauna, WI; and great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Joshua, Aaron, Antonio, Dalaina, Ethan, Rex, Alex, Dylan, Rachael, and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; brothers and sisters: Myrt Putman; Edna Biechler; Beatrice Ziegelbauer; Marilyn Gajewski; Mernie Carow; Florence Teela; Verna Konow; George Carow; Harvey Carow; Ruth Helms; Erna Vanesky; Sophie Carow; Robert Carow; Evelyn Ford; and Louis Carow. A Memorial Service for Ada will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Menasha, Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Bell Cemetery, Winneconne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Timothy Ev. Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Oakridge Gardens for their loving care of Ada.
