Obituary
Betty Ann (Stocker) Delfosse, born March 24, 1928 to Walter and Anita Stocker in Thorp, WI, passed away peacefully August 13, 2021 surrounded by her family after suffering many years with dementia.
Betty married Robert Delfosse February 1, 1947 and is survived by her five children: Geraldine (Jim) Ely, Onalaska; Kathleen (David) Katz, Minneapolis, MN; Stephen (Wanda) Delfosse, Kaukauna; Mark (Mary Jo) Delfosse, Sherwood; and Michelle (Brian Steeno) Crowley, Green Bay.
Betty is survived by many grandchildren: Michael and Gregg Ely; John Katz, Anna Miller, and Allison Thorkelson; Mathew and Joshua Delfosse; Adam Delfosse and Dawn Marsh; Breanna Brooks, Lydia, and Seth Crowley. She also has many great-grandchildren and she loved them all dearly.
Betty worked at Gene's Bake Shop and also Mr. Donut for many years. She volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Shop and was an active member at Martin Luther Church.
She enjoyed going to the Neenah YMCA and playing Sheepshead at the Brigade with many senior friends. She was an avid knitter and was known for her slippers. When her kids came home, there was always a good game of cards going. Her son Steve came home many Saturdays and they played cribbage.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gerald Stocker from a car accident in 1947, and by her husband Robert in 2003.
A funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 436 S. Lake St., Neenah. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Betty will join Robert in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on Youtube at: Martin Luther Church, Neenah.

The family would like to thank Island Shores for their loving care of mom for the past ten years, as well as Compassus Hospice.
In Mom's words, “Dear kids – I love you all very much and as I'm writing this, I want you all to know I'm an expert Sheepshead player, but don't put that in my obituary! HA!” She was the luckiest card player around!
Mom was the BEST and led by example on how to live a Christian life.
