KATHLEEN LENNON

Kathleen M. Lennon, Kathy , of Oshkosh, age 57, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. She was born August 18, 1955 in Oshkosh, daughter of William and Gloria (Gibson) Lennon. Kathy attended St. Marys grade school, Lourdes High School and then UW-Oshkosh. After school she joined Continental Airlines as a flight attendant. Kathy later worked in retail sales and then went into Real Estate sales, and was currently employed with Schwab Realty. Kathy was a member of the Winnebago County Board for eight years. She also spent much of her time counseling and helping recovering alcoholics and cancer survivors. Kathy volunteered at the Place 2B in their health center. Survivors include her mother, Gloria Lennon; three brothers: Pat (Pam) Lennon, Bill (Julie) Lennon, Dan Lennon; a sister, Peggy (Steve) Rolfs; 12 nieces and nephews; and an aunt, June Lennon. Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Docterman; her father, William Lennon; and an uncle, Tom Lennon. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Most Blessed Sacrament " St. Marys Site, 605 Merritt Ave., Oshkosh. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Place 2B Health Center and Solutions Recovery Club.
