NORRIS SHAY

Norris Eugene Shay, of Neenah, age 95, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was born in New Milford, Pennsylvania and worked for the railroads for 47 years. Norris was a man who served his family and his church all the days of his life. He was best known for his beautiful voice and his love of life. Norris is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margarete; his son, Roger (Pam); his daughter, Kathy (Lon) Pearson; a sister, Betty Kegelman; four grandchildren: David (Andrea) Pearson, Brad Pearson, Elizabeth (Matt) Conlon, Ben Dengerink; and a great-grandson, Thayer Pearson; and many nieces and nephews. St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 226 Washington St., Menasha, will host a celebration of his life on Saturday, January 5, 2012. The viewing will take place at the church in the chapel at 10:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be given to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in memory of Norris. We thank all of the nurses on the fifth floor of Theda Clark for their care of our father and to all of you who had the opportunity to know our dad.
