NANCY MUCH

Nancy C. Much, Fremont, age 78, passed away by the will of God on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Vallhaven Care Center. She was born March 2, 1931 in Neenah; daughter of the late Warren S. and Lucille (Bauer) Sanders. Nancy graduated from Neenah High School in 1949 and was a member of the 49ers. She was employed with Jandrys in Neenah as the Notions Department Manager. Nancy married Jerome Veith on September 16, 1950; he preceded her in death in 1968. She then married Willard Much on August 22, 1970 in Dale. Nancy and Jerome raised four children until his death. Then with Willard, she helped raise his sons and together they raised a daughter. Nancy loved reading. Survivors include her husband, Willard; seven children: Vicky (Ken) Hall, Steve (Wendy) Veith, Michael (Katie) Veith, Mark (Dr. Mike) Veith-West, Tim Much, Carl (Dawn Gritt) Much, Joann (Bob) Lehman; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet (Paul) Zuhlke. Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Warren B. Sanders. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with the Rev. Alex Tychkin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until the hour of services. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. The family would like to thank the staff of Vallhaven Care Center for all their wonderful care of Nancy.
