JEAN WOJCIK

Jean A. Wojcik, 56, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 20, 2009, at her home. Jean was born December 31, 1952, in Merrill, the daughter of Lawrence Knoll, Florida, and the late Betty (Pophal) Knoll. The family moved to Neenah when Jean was a young girl. She attended Neenah schools, and became a beautician working out of her home. She enjoyed camping and fishing, gardening, cooking, occasional casino trips, and arranging flowers for family and friends weddings. Her biggest enjoyment was spending quality time with her family and friends, especially with her daughter and her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Georgina Larson; her grandchildren: Amanda Jean Wojcik, Amber Jean Larson, and Alex Jordan Larson; her father, Lawrence Knoll; two sisters: Linda Knoll and Laurie Weeks; a brother, Kevin (Penny) Knoll; aunts and uncles, but Jean considered them brothers and sisters: Phyllis & Paul, Beverly & George, Margie & Roger, and Audrey & Butch; she is further survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, special friends, Kate Calkins and Linda Kies, and her very special friend, Rita Roberts. Jean was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, Lawrence, Jr. Moochie Knoll and Kenneth Knoll, an aunt, Judy (David) Kleinschmidt, and uncles, David and Bob Pophal, Grandma and Grandpa Pophal, Grandma and Grandpa Hansen. The Funeral Service for Jean will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 2:00 PM, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Clarence Harms officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. Jeans family would like to express their thanks to ThedaCare at Home Hospice, Dr. Whiteside, and her nurse, Judy, for their gentle and compassionate care given to Jean and her family.
