Obituary
John R. Paveletzke, age 88, of Menasha, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009, at Crestwood Senior Living. He was born in Menasha on September 26, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Romnek) Paveletzke. After high school, John proudly served our nation with the United States Army. He was married to Nona Jean Beach, and the union was blessed with seven children. John was a well-liked foreman at American Can Company for many years. He was an avid baseball and football fan, cheering for the Cubs and the Bears. John enjoyed riding his bike until Muscular Degeneration and a Stroke limited his abilities.
He is survived by his children: Jane (Edward) Allworden, Shiocton; John Paveletzke, Menasha; JoAnn (Peter) Friebel, Menasha; Judith Paveletzke, Neenah; Janet Paveletzke, Menasha; daughters-in-law: Deborah Paveletzke, Susan Paveletzke; grandchildren: Angela Beyer, John A. (Julie) Paveletzke Jr., Jennifer (Bart) Johnson, Kimberly (Ben) Krause, Jeremy Friebel, Michael Farrell, Kari (Jonathon McColly) Farrell, James (Amanda Niemuth) Johnson, Ryne Johnson, Tiara Jackson, Tiana Jackson; great-grandchildren: Skye, Jade, Trae, Brandon, Jackson, Ella, Olivia, Emma, Lawson, Elayna, Mack, Maya, Dominik, Marques, Camren, Kaiden; brother, Harold (Virginia) Paveletzke, Neenah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Jean; his infant daughter, Jean Marie; his son, James Paveletzke; brothers: Joe Jr., Edward, George; and sister, Dorothy.
Funeral services for John will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Fritz officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
