Obituary
Oveila R. Emerson, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born October 30, 1937, daughter of the late Orval and Emily (Strohbeen) Emerson.
Oveila graduated from Clear Lake High School where she played clarinet and was a majorette in the band. She attended college at UW-Eau Claire, graduating with a degree in elementary education. Oveila taught elementary school in Neenah public schools for 32 years. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Oveila was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Emily (Strohbeen) Emerson, brothers Lawrence, Eugene, and Delmar as well as her sister Janet. She is survived by her brother LaMoyne Emerson of Clear Lake, Wisconsin. There will be a private burial in Amery, Wisconsin, next to her parents.
