DOROTHY SIEVERT

Dorothy C. Sievert, age 96 ½, of Neenah, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 14, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born October 13, 1913 to the late Albert and Meta (Fiestadt) Sievert. On November 23, 1933, she married Elmer Sievert. Dorothy was a very active member in her church. She also enjoyed working in her garden and the special time she spent with her cats. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy is survived by two children: Ken Sievert and Bea Schoening, both of Neenah; nine grandchildren: Deborah Sievert Morris, Portland, OR; Cheryl (John) Rutten, Perham, MN; Mike (Jenny) Sievert, Cottage Grove, WI; Chris (Rhoda) Sievert, Neenah; Steve (Sharon) Jones, Canton, GA; David (Sue) Jones, Neenah; Doug (Jenny) Jones, West Bend, WI; Scott Schoening, Mishicot, WI; and Beth (Pat) Brown, Neenah. She is further survived by sixteen great-grandchildren: Madeleine Morris; Mikailya, Casey, and Gus Rutten; Alex and Rachel Sievert; Kyle and Caitlyn Sievert; Nina, Christian, Parker and Aaron Jones; Mitchell, Andrew, and Missy Jones; and Brandon Mitchell; as well as one great-great-grandchild; a sister: Lucille Eggert and a son-in-law: Robert Jones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer; daughter Arlene Jones; son-in-law Lee Schoening; brother Clark Sievert; and brother-in-law Elmer Eggert. The funeral service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church of Neenah, Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Star of Hope Mausoleum, Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dorothys name. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dorothys church family.
