DONNA DRAFZ

Donna Marie Drafz, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Parkside Senior Living, Neenah. She was born November21, 1949, in Neenah, daughter of the late, Lester and Dolores (Metzler) Drafz.

Donna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from UW Oshkosh. She worked for Mike Crivello's Camera stores in Milwaukee. Photography became a passion for Donna. She enjoyed gardening, and spent hours at the Milwaukee Domes, photographing flowers. Donna was on the Board of Directors of “Friends of the Domes.” She was an avid fan of the Lettermen, attending their concerts and taking photos. Donna further enjoyed cross-stitching and was active in the Fox Valley chapter of the National Embroidery's Guild. In 1984, Donna won first place in the local framed needlework competition. She collected cookie cutters and loved snowflakes. After suffering a major stroke in 2004, Donna moved into Valley VNA, Neenah, until suffering another stroke in 2018, when she moved into Parkside Senior Living, Neenah.

Donna is survived by her brother in-law, Steve Geiger; her uncle, Robert Metzler; and several cousins. She was further preceded in death by her two sisters: Judith Drafz, and Beverly Geiger.

A graveside service for Donna will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at St. Margaret Catholic Cemetery, Neenah.
