Obituary
Rudy I. Holz, 58, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Rudy was born April 1, 1951, in Antigo, the son of Henry and Regina (Somers) Holz. He was a graduate of Antigo High School, and attended Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. Rudy was united in marriage to Susan "Sue" Woods on September 23, 1972, and they were blessed with four children. Rudy was employed for many years with Mills Fleet Farm, and worked at their stores in Antigo, Waupaca, Stevens Point, and Appleton. Survivors include his wife, Sue; a daughter, Jennifer (Norman) Zywicki, and their children Austin and Jorja; three sons: Eric Holz and Greg Holz, of Madison, and Michael Holz, Milwaukee; and two sisters: Carla (Jim) Borman, Coon Rapids, Minn. And Amy Holz, Wausau. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Memorial Service for Rudy will be Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday at 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

My son, Matthew Brown, is a good friend of Eric's and I remember Matthew always had such nice things to say about Eric's parents and that Rudy was a "good guy". I am so sincerely sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. May all your good memories of his life give you some comfort. Sally Topinka

Sue & Family: I was so sorry to hear about Rudy. The news of his passing took me back to childhood memories when our family would go "up north" to visit Grandma Holz and our cousins. Their home was always the first place we headed. He had a good sense of humor, and reminded me a lot of Uncle Hank. I used to think it was funny when Uncle Hank used to get so riled up. MY thoughts and prayers are with all of you, I worked with him in the Stevens Point store,He was a super person with a cheerful smile. He would always start our meetings with a joke of the day. I was sad to hear he was leaving our store. I know he will be surely missed. God Bless You Rudy!
