ANTHONY SPURRELL

Anthony William Spurrell of Neenah, age 76, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1932 in Bath, England, son of the late Joseph and Rosa (Jay) Spurrell. He married Queenie Richards on September 6, 1952 in England. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2000. Anthony was a Neenah resident for many years. He was a member of Martin Luther Church, Neenah. He was a former employee of Pissai Graphics of Appleton. Anthony was a member of Neenah Club and enjoyed swimming at the YMCA daily. He loved photography and gardening. Survivors include two daughters: Deborah Knuth, Menasha, and Tonia (Heath) Munger, Neenah; five grandchildren: Eric and Jody Smith, and Hannah, MacKenzie, and Weston Munger; and a brother, Arthur (Barbara) Spurrell, England. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jeffrey and Kenneth Spurrell. A Memorial Service for Anthony will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM, at Martin Luther Church, Neenah, with the Rev. Jason Oakland officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
