WILLIAM DULL

William H. (Bill) Dull, the brother of Nancy Dull Lephart, was called home by God on December 8, 2020, at the age of 70. At that time, he was being treated for COVID-19 under the care of ThedaCare Hospital.

Bill grew up on a farm outside of Arcanum, Ohio. He graduated from Arcanum High School in 1968. He attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and graduated in 1972. He majored in special education and received a mention in Who's Who. After teaching in Ohio for two years, he relocated to Neenah, Wisconsin.

Bill was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Neenah. He was a faithful member of the choir and loved to sing. As a youngster he and his sister Nancy sang sacred songs for church, including “Away in a Manger”. The last verse, beginning “Be near me, Lord Jesus” was a favorite of Bill's and he believed it to his passing. He was appreciated by many for his rendition of “The Old Rugged Cross” for services at Our Savior's. Bill also wanted everyone to know that God was with him and he was in God's hands. He was very much involved with helping other residents at Emerald Ridge, his assisted living center, including playing Santa Claus and handing out gifts at Christmas. Bill enjoyed playing and calling bingo and looked forward to it. He loved watching the Wisconsin sports teams - Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers – and yelling at the TV. He also loved to sit with his pet cats, Charley and Molly.

Bill was very much involved with his family, wanting to attend family gatherings and give gifts on special occasions. He loved to go to his niece's and nephew's activities and then his grandniece's and grandnephew's activities as well. He celebrated his 70^th birthday outside of Emerald Ridge with 9 of his family members. He will be greatly missed by all.

Bill is survived by his sister, Nancy Lephart and brother-in-law Bob Lephart of Neenah, WI; his cousin Keith Burris and family of Dayton, OH; his nephew Paul Lephart and family of Novi, MI; and his niece Diane Tyynismaa and family of Neenah, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard D. Dull, and mother, Olive M. Dull.

At this time there are no plans for a funeral service. There will be a Memorial service at some later date.
