COLLEEN MARSELLA

Colleen Ellen Marsella, age 78, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Appleton Health Care Center. She was born January 31, 1931 in Appleton, daughter of the late Simon and Genevieve (Longrie) O'Connell. She married Gerald C. Loeper and Charles R. Marsella. Colleen resided most of her life in Appleton. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She was a beautician in the area for many years. Colleen enjoyed knitting and she donated many items to the Women's Auxiliary of St. Elizabeth Hospital. She is survived by five children: Michael C. (Lynn Ann) Loeper, Appleton, Robert "Lippy" Loeper, Appleton, Diane Heller, Menasha, Brian Loeper, Appleton, Colleen (Mark) Wincentsen, Havelock, NC; seven grandchildren: Cori Arizola, Michelle Wales, Jason Loeper, Robert Loeper Jr., Mindy Krajewski, Wyatt Heller, Gage Wincentsen; four great grandchildren: Hailey Mae, Braeden Miedem, Giovanni Arizola, Kyra Arizola; and a sister, Sister Mary Rose O'Connell, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Appleton Health Care Center Unit 4.
