JOAN BOUDRY

Joan Ellen Boudry, of Neenah, age 70, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. She was born January 1, 1939 in Burlington, WI; daughter of the late William and Ella (Pope) Moore. She married Robert Boudry on January 21, 1961 in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1997. Joan loved her grandchildren, summers on the Chain-O-Lakes, and her Friday night Fish Ladies. She also enjoyed antiques, reading, Packer Sundays, and spending time with family. Survivors include three children: Cynthia (Geoff) Hendren, Robert (Michelle) Boudry II, John (Mary) Boudry; six grandchildren: Ethan and Kara Nordness, Elise and Helen Boudry, Ella and Isabel Boudry, two step-grandchildren: Kayla Michler-Hendren and Michael Michler-Hendren; a brother-in-law, John (Shirley) Boudry, two sisters-in-law: Mary (John) Jackson, Helen (Robert) Dedmon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Neil) Webb. A Memorial Service for Joan will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2009, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 PM until the hour of service. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Waupaca. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Knaus and Reis-Sagers for their many years of care and her caretaker, Helen Christian, for helping her maintain her independence for as long as possible.
