Obituary
Donna Mae Beringer, age 72, of Neenah, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 10, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born May 18, 1938 to the late Edward and Vina (Surprise) Pomrening. On October 22, 1960, she married James P. Beringer. Donna was a very generous, caring, selfless woman who adored her grandchildren and centered her life around her family. She liked music, visiting Buboltz Nature Preserve, was always rooting for the underdog and had the gift of gab which resulted in many friendships over the years. Her hearty laugh will be missed by all. Donna is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Jim; three children: Rebecca (John) Remmel, Neenah, Jeff (Patty) Beringer, Harrisburg, MO, Patrick (Tia) Beringer, Fifield, WI; six grandchildren: Rheanna, age 19, Zach, 18, Renee, 15, Ethan, 15, Caleb, 13, and Lyla, 2. She is further survived by two sisters: Rita Lemke and Sandra Jirikowic. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean and a brother Edward Jr. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 11:00 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church of Neenah, with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donnas name. Donnas family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oncology Department at St. Es, Dr. Goggins and his staff, as well as the Affinity Hospice Nurses for their compassionate care.
