SCOTT SCHRAMM

November 15, 1964 - July 22, 2010

Obituary

Scott A. Schramm, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 22, 2010. He was born on November 15, 1964 in Neenah, son of the Douglas Schramm and the late Susanne (Schreiter) Schramm. He was formerly employed as a salesman for Witco for several years before earning his Masters in Business Administration in 2008 from UW-Oshkosh. Scott loved his family, especially his beautiful daughters. He was a generous man who enjoyed volunteering, was loveable, light-hearted, fun-loving, and witty. His sense of humor afforded him to enjoy one of his greatest joys which was seeing smiles on other peoples faces. He was very involved in his daughters education and loved watching them compete in sports. He also enjoyed biking, camping, computers, watching movies, long talks with his sister, Lynn, and eating cinnamon rolls with his daughters on Sunday mornings. Scott had many struggles in his life, but he is at peace now. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Sara, Rebecca, and Elizabeth, of Menasha; his father, Douglas, of Menasha; his sisters: Lynn (Tom) Stinski, Neenah, Lori (Steve) Schutkoske, Omro; his step-sister, Marie Polar, Neenah; his brothers: Michael (Carmel) Schramm, Rhinelander, Patrick Schramm, Minnesota; his nieces: Charlotte, Lauren, and Kimberly; and was a Big Brother to Ethan. In addition to his mother, Susanne, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Yvonne. A Memorial Service for Scott will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Menasha with Father Paul J. Radetski officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank Ruth Wulgaert and Christopher Nechodom and all of their friends and extended family for their support during this most difficult time. Dad: Thank you for being the best and most fun Dad. You will always be in our hearts. We love you! Dearest Brother, Scotty, When you left, a piece of each of us went with you. Nothing will ever take away the pain of losing you here on earth, but in Heaven there is only great joy and peace and that is what will keep us strong in the difficult days, months, and years ahead. We will always remember the laughter and fun we had together and nothing will ever take that from us. Most importantly, you were the most INCREDIBLE Father and your three beautiful daughters were always the most important and precious gift in your life! You will ALWAYS be with us, Scotty! Love With All Our Heart & Souls, Your Sisters and Brothers, Lynn, Lori, Marie, Mike, & Pat

We were so sorry to hear of Scott's death. We knew Scott through Rebecca's soccer's team. Dave is her coach and has always enjoyed coaching her. I enjoyed joking around with Scott at the games. He was always a fun guy. I think Scott donated the most stuff at the brat fry this year. Whatever was left, he kept saying, "I bring it". The team had a soccer tournament this weekend and we certainly missed Rebecca and Scott being there. Our thoughts and prayers are with the girls and Scott's family.

Dear Schramm Family, I am so sorry for the loss of you dear loved one. Please accept my sympathies. Scott and I knew each other in high school. I had not seen Scott for many years. I never had the opportunity to meet his beautiful daughters. I wish I had a funny story to share with them about their dad! I can share that he was always silly and trying to make people laugh. I know that he will be deeply missed. Sincerely, Penny Cummings
