DENNIS BEYER
May 05, 1943 - July 25, 2010
Obituary
Dennis L. Beyer, age 67, of Neenah, passed away peacefully and pain free while surrounded by his family at Theda Clark Hospital on Sunday, July 25, 2010. He was born May 5, 1943 to Vernon and Joyce (Dickson) Beyer. He was a Millwright his entire adult life, first with John Strange Paper and then Wisconsin Tissue Mills until retirement. He married Josephine Patti (nee) Beals on October 11, 1991. Denny was a long time member and supporter of the 206 Club of Menasha where he has many special friends. He was a giving, caring person that always had a story to tell. He had a passion for fishing, watching the Packers play, and was an excellent Pool shot. He enjoyed the simple things of life like mowing the lawn, snow blowing, keeping his car shiny and tinkering. When Cancer took his ability away to do these things, it saddened him greatly to have to ask for help. Dennis is survived by his wife Patti; children: Lisa Beyer, Appleton; Bryan Beyer, Neenah; and Michael (Lisha) Beyer, Whitewater, SD; Pattis children that he considered his own: Scott (Jennie) Miller, Neenah; Dan Miller, Neenah; Rick (Heidi) Benson, Oceanside, CA; Cindy (Randy) Salbino, Victorville, CA; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is further survived by his mother, Joyce; brother, Dwayne (Paula) Beyer, Kaukauna; sister-in-law Sandy (Dick) Coster, Sherrard, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Vernon; his son Gregory, and his faithful companion Heidi. The memorial service for Dennis will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Denniss name. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to all of Dennys doctors and nurses who gave him such wonderful care. Denny was a long time friend of Bill W.

While I only knew Denny for 8 months, he had a big impact on me. He will be missed at the tables.

The world has lost a wonderful man but his legacy will live on in the children who are proud to have called him Dad. We were blessed to have known and loved him.
